During the summer of 2017, I built - in conjunction with my forewoman Heather Olsen - my first structure: a writing studio for my wife, Melanie. Nothing could have been more satisfying (or exhausting) than to actually construct a building!  And one thing is for certain: it's a lot harder to assemble a wall than it is to draw one (smiling).
