WRITING
Back in architecture school, I reprogrammed a sketchbook into a journal and etched this on the cover: My Write to Release. It was here that I captured lyrics, quotes, and intimate thoughts & observations that found me each day. All these years later, this play on words—a write to release—makes so much sense for me and my pull to capture the world through words. To write is to release. To write is also to examine, to innovate, to calibrate, to grow, to evolve, to challenge, to dispel, to confess, to heal, to resurrect. Whether it's professional or personal writing, I am ever grateful for this mode of transcendence, which doubles as an excuse to frequent all the coffee shops.
